AAAM kicked off its new educational webinar series with a dynamic one-hour session entitled Analysis Tips and Tricks for Proper Use, led by esteemed AIS faculty member Kathryn L. Loftis, Ph.D., CAISS. Dr. Loftis focused on the practical use of AIS codes in analysis and research and also covered AIS history, versions, codes, and best practices for utilizing AIS in research and analysis. Designed for a large demographic including researchers, analysts, epidemiologists, and graduate students who use AIS codes within their data analysis, the webinar received an excellent response from attendees:

“The technical aspect of the webinar and questions was flawless, nicely done.”

“I am pleased that these are being offered to help further my AIS education.”

“I was excited about the opportunity to present for the first AAAM webinar”, stated Dr. Loftis. She continues, “The turnout was great and the group was inquisitive, which made things more fun for me as the presenter.  I look forward to attending other interesting AAAM webinars in the future.”
