In the interest of our global community, the 2020 AAAM Annual Scientific Conference in Portland, Oregon will not move forward as planned. Although we will miss seeing you in Portland this October, we look forward to meeting in person at AAAM’s 2021 Annual Scientific Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.
With that, we are excited to announce that the show will go on, and AAAM will be going virtual for this year’s conference. We are in the process of firming up details regarding programming, dates and registration and will be releasing more information this summer.
These are difficult times and we appreciate the extraordinary challenges you face as professionals helping prepare your communities in response to the pandemic. Your work is of vital importance — especially now. Although it is disappointing to have to forgo our in-person meeting, the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, staff and Portland residents have been our primary concerns. AAAM is committed to implementing a model that ensures the safety of all stakeholders.
If there is anything we can do to help or you have any questions about our meeting plans, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note – all attendees are responsible for canceling their own travel arrangements and confirming cancellation of any hotel accommodations. Call the reservation center at (503) 228-2000 to speak with a representative.
We look forward to enjoying meaningful engagement, connection and learning together virtually in October! As always, we thank you for your continued support of AAAM and our global mission of saving lives and eliminating injuries associated with road traffic crashes.
