Learn and Network During AAAM’s 69th Annual Scientific Conference

New in 2025! Don’t miss our interactive AIS Workshop—advance registration required

Examine the best new scientific research in all areas of road and traffic safety during our 69th Annual Scientific Conference, a global forum for networking and collaborating with like-minded auto safety experts. This year, AAAM is pleased to offer an in-person Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) Workshop during our 69th Annual Scientific Conference. Learn all about the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) – the singular injury severity coding and ranking tool used across the globe in traffic safety research and trauma care. There is no additional fee to attend, but advance registration is required—space is limited, and seats will fill quickly.

New in 2025! Tour a World-Class Automotive Testing Facility

AAAM has partnered with the Center for Advanced Product Evaluation (CAPE) to offer an exciting new opportunity as part of our 69th Annual Scientific Conference — attendees can opt to take a tour of a premier automotive crash testing facility.  On the tour, you’ll be able to see CAPE’s world-class test facilities contained all under one roof, along with CAPE’s ATD and instrumentation lab. You’ll also get to see demonstrations of a FMVSS 213a sled test and a side roll test on CAPE’s one-of-a-kind rollover machine. If time permits, video of the occupant kinematics will be reviewed following the tests.

Participating attendees will meet in the hotel lobby between 11:45am-12:00pm for prompt departure at 12:00pm. The ride to the CAPE facility is approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the facility, lunch will be served. Proceeding lunch, the tour of the facility and tests will begin, this will last approximately 2 hours. Departure from the CAPE facility will begin promptly at 3:45pm to ensure arrival to the Conrad Hilton by 4:30pm.

There is no additional fee to attend, but advance registration is required. Seating is very limited, so don’t wait! If you’d like to join, simply email info@aaam.org by September 15th and we’ll add the tour to your registration.
