Join us in-person at the TQIP Annual Pre-Conference in Phoenix, AZ for 2-days training on the most current version of AIS. This is a 2-day course covering the history of injury scaling methods; the use of the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS); coding rules and conventions as well as methods for assessing the multiply injured patient and assigning an Injury Severity Score (ISS). The cost of the course ($800 per person) includes 2-days of training, digital course materials and lunch.
Course Participant: This course is designed for trauma nurses, coordinators, registrars, physicians, researchers, or engineers responsible for injury databases.
Dates: Friday – December 9, 2022 and Saturday – December 10, 2022
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mountain Time)
Location: Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, Phoenix, AZ
Room: Ahwatukee Room
Pre-Requisites:
1) Minimum of 6 months (1 year or more suggested) experience working with AIS either in a trauma registry or coding of injury cases
2) Basic anatomy course or equivalent
3) Basic medical terminology course or equivalent
Cost: $800.00 per person (includes lunch)
Advanced registration is required. Payment must be completed prior to the training workshop start date.
