Virtual Live courses are held over 3 consecutive days from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. CT. Participants in the course must have webcam and microphone capabilities as active participation in discussions is required. The course is facilitated live by AAAM faculty via webinar.
Duration: Three (3) days, Four (4) hours each
Class Hours: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Central Time Zone (unless otherwise noted)
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 6 months (1 year or more suggested) experience working with AIS either in a trauma registry or coding of injury cases
- Basic anatomy course or equivalent
- Basic medical terminology course or equivalent
Equipment Needs: Participants must have a webcam and microphone capabilities as active participation in discussion is required
Materials: All materials are available within the learning platform. The student has the choice of obtaining a copy of the digital AIS2005/2008 Update Dictionary or a hardcopy.
Facilitator: AAAM Faculty, via a webinar platform
Successful Completion: Must pass post-test with 70% or better
Cost: $750.00 USD per/person
The March AIS08 Virtual Live course will be held on March 21-25 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. CT. Full attendance at all sessions is mandatory. Registration for this course closes 2/28/23, NO exceptions.
