AIS15 Onsite Course

Duration: Two (2) consecutive days, eight (8) hours each 
Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of 6 months (1 year or more suggested) experience working with AIS either in a trauma registry or coding of injury cases
  • Basic anatomy course or equivalent
  • Basic medical terminology course or equivalent

Equipment Needs: Participant course materials are delivered digitally. You are responsible for ensuring that you have access to all materials during the class by either printing the materials or downloading them to an electronic device that you bring to class (laptop, tablet, etc.).
Materials: All materials are available within the learning platform. The student has the choice of obtaining a copy of the digital AIS2015 Dictionary or a hardcopy.
Facilitator: AAAM Faculty
Successful Completion:  Must pass post-test with 70% or better
Cost: $750.00 USD per/person (unless stated otherwise)

*Course logistics and materials are sent out 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the course. Course completion documents are distributed immediately following successful completion of the post-test (70% or better) during in-person courses.

Cancellation Policy

AAAM does NOT issue refunds for any of its courses. If you cancel before the beginning of the course or found ineligible, you can either:

  1. Transfer the registration to another eligible participant or
  2. Transfer the registration to another AAAM hosted course taking place within six (6) months of the original course date (Funds will be forfeited if unused within six (6) months of the original course start date)

* All transfers and cancellations will be assessed a one-hundred-dollar ($100) processing fee.
**AAAM will not accept any cancellations, transfers, or substitutions seven (7) days prior to the beginning of the course or after the course has begun.
